Description

Often used alongside metal detectors and other search equipment, these robust Random Search Selectors – offer a simple, reliable and guaranteed “Unbiased” way to select persons from a group or queue to be searched when it is either impractical or undesirable to search everyone passing through a control point.

These units are also often used in applications for randomly selecting goods, items, or vehicles, for special attention or inspection.

The Random Search selector is designed to operate as a stand alone unit, but for operational convenience, optional extrasinclude a remote activation button and a remote indicator unit

The optional “Remote Button” is supplied with a 4.3 metre connecting cable, which allows the activation button to be located remotely from the Random Search Selector unit if required – i.e. in a more convenient or practical location for operation by persons filing by.

The optional “Remote Indicator” is supplied with a 4.3 metre connecting cable, which allows the unit to be located remotely from the Random Search Selector unit if required – i.e. in an adjacent room or at the security checkpoint desk, etc.  Where the “Remote Indicator” is used, the Pass or Fail indication resulting from a subject pressing the activation button, is displayed on both the Random Search Selector unit and the Remote Indicator.
